yu-i chan was born and raised in taiwan, a subtropical island that is a melting pot of many different cultures. she often dreams about the house she lived with her big family in her childhood; a baroque style building with an orchid courtyard, a chinese garden and rooms setting with japanese or chinese styles. those memories in her head are too heavy so she has to let it out. when she is thousands miles away from the old house she draws a lot of visionary and dreamy things from that house. she lives and works in los angeles now.
